Tim McGraw has been added to the stellar line-up of next summer’s Country Thunder Saskatchewan, joining previously-announced headliner Chris Stapleton.
Also announced on Monday, the Craven Valley festival will welcome back Jake Owen and Canadian country star Dallas Smith.
“We couldn’t be more proud and excited of the line-up which has been put together for some of the greatest country music fans in the world,” said Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO Troy Vollhoffer, in a release.
“Saskatchewan is home and this is the one we get most excited about.”
Stapleton, a big winner at this month’s CMA Awards, will headline the festival’s closing night in what is billed as his first show in the province and only one in Western Canada all year.
McGraw, who recently wrapped up a tour with his wife Faith Hill, is riding high with his new single “Neon Church.”
Country Thunder, which runs July 11 to 14, will also feature Steve Earle and the Dukes, the original Lonestar line-up, Travis Tritt and Canadian country icon Terri Clark.
Country Thunder will also welcome Gord Bamford, Shawn Austin, The Reklaws, Meghan Patrick, The Road Hammers, JoJo Mason, Jimmie Allen and Saskatchewan’s own Hunter Brothers.
Four-day passes, single-day tickets and other packages are on sale on the official website or by phone at 1-866-388-0007.
Big Dog 92.7, part of iHeartRadio, is a proud sponsor of Country Thunder.
