WATCH: California Man Creates Epic Halloween Light Show

A California man who creates mind-blowing Halloween sound-and-light shows outside his house has this year chosen tracks by Metallica and Eminem ft. Rihanna.

“It is important in this time to have things that unify us,” Tom BetGeorge told KCRA of the show that he said takes up to 600 hours to program. “Especially this year when it seems like there’s nothing to do and people are stuck inside.”

In one display, an electronic pumpkin belts out James Hetfield’s vocals in Metallica’s 1991 banger “Enter Sandman” and in another, a pair of pumpkins do “The Monster,” the 2013 Eminem and Rihanna collaboration. (Metallica gave its stamp of approval on Oct. 10 by retweeting a link to the video of the show.)

BetGeorge, who runs Magical Light Shows, uses more than 70,000 lights and special effects on his home in Tracy, California to create the show, which runs for two hours on weekend nights leading up to Halloween.

Although it is free, BetGeorge encourages spectators to make donations in support of a local shelter.

BetGeorge has previously created spook-tacular shows set to Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters,” System of a Down’s “Chop Suey” and a medley of Michael Jackson hits. He has done similar sound-and-light displays during the Christmas holidays.
