Demi Lovato facilitated a marriage proposal on Friday night during the L.A. stop on her Tell Me You Love Me Tour.
The pop star invited former American Idol finalist Rayvon Owen on stage under the ruse that she wanted someone to join her for the next song. Suddenly, Owen’s boyfriend of two years, Shane Bitney Crone, emerged from below the stage.
As the crowd cheered, Crone told Owen: “I thought I could never love again, and then I completely fell in love with everything about you. You inspire me every day with your passion, your patience, your talents and generous heart.”
Crone got down on a knee and popped the question – and Owen said yes!
“I’m still in tears,” Owen shared on Twitter. “Last night was hands down the happiest night of my life.” He thanked Lovato “for giving us this extremely special moment.”

Crone, 32, chronicled the death of his partner Tom in the emotional documentary Bridegroom, which featured Lovato’s hit “Skyscraper.” Crone appears in the videos for Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” and “Really Don’t Care.”
Lovato told the crowd she is friends with both men.
"I've gotten to watch Shane go through so much and come out on the other side – such a strong person who's now found the love of his life,” Lovato said, before she serenaded the couple with her 2015 song “Yes.”
Owen, 26, met Crone not long before shooting his 2016 video “Can’t Fight It” – in which Crone makes an appearance.
