Canada’s capital is getting a dose of coolness thanks to the Wu-Tang Clan.
The American hip-hop collective is selling $28 bottles of hand sanitizer and $40 T-shirts, with all proceeds going to the Ottawa Food Bank and homeless shelters.
“What we’re doing today is an example for other communities, other cities,” said RZA, in a video shared on Twitter on Wednesday. “May this seed that we plant today spread and multiple and may we all strive, and succeed, at making a better tomorrow.”

The Wu-Tang Clan’s connection to the capital began on April 2, when it answered an appeal for a donation to the Ottawa Food Bank from businessman Adam Miron.
“We got you,” read a tweet. “Just made a donation ourselves. Appreciate Canada holding us down all these years.”
Within 48 hours, an additional $280,000 in donations poured in.
Wu-Tang Clan’s 36 Chambers then partnered with the City of Ottawa and mayor Jim Watson on the "A Better Tomorrow Collection."
Proceeds from the sale of the black and yellow “OttaWu” T-shirt will go to the Ottawa Food Bank. For every bottle of Protect Ya Hands plant-based sanitizer sold, another will be provided to The Ottawa Mission Foundation.
Both items are available online and shipping is free for orders over $80.
