Bring on December!

Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights

As we wave good bye to November, one of the busiest months of year is about to start and there's a ton of events to explore, Santa Claus Parades and Winter Festivals to attend as the NEWSTALK team visits the Niagara Region for the entire weekend.

We're here to experience Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls with a number of fun events...Thanks to, we're staying at the Shaw Club Hotel, downtown Niagara on the Lake...a quaint Inn with individually designed rooms, a marvelous restaurant and bar.  There's nothing they've forgotten from a newspaper at your door each morning to a special request of fish in your room.  Reminds me of a Muskoka Inn with 2 floors but when you walk it's eclectic yet comfortable interior takes over.

The Shaw Club Hotel also has charging stations for electric battery cars as the NEWSTALK Pizzaville Audi Etron.  Spot me or the SUV to win a $25 gift card from Pizzaville.

Friday night is special at the Falls with Winter Festival of Lights...over 2 million lights bulbs along with a laser show light up the Falls with music, then on Friday fireworks over the Falls.

The best viewing restaurant is the Keg on Fallsview Blvd with unobstructed views of the Falls and comfortable seating.

On Saturday, we visit the most awarded winery in Canada with a Jackson Triggs tour followed by a dinner in Zees Restuarant at our headquarters,  the Shaw Club Hotel.  Jackson Triggs is a 12 acre property that grows some of the finest grapes in the world thanks to the climate influence of Lake Ontario and Niagara Escarpment.

Others Festivals in London, Simcoe, Waterloo, Trenton, Brantford, Burlington at Spencer Smith Park, Cambridge, Blue Mountain, Owen Sound, Midland, Cobourg and Distillery.
