Hockley Valley follow-up

Well, the NEWSTALK crew enjoyed one of the coolest weekends to date..a stay and ski experience at Hockley Valley resort and conference center in Caledon.

This resort has not skipped a beat during Covid times. It's one of the safest resorts I've stayed the past year with one of the friendliest and most professional staff who make your stay even more enjoyable.

Right from a warm welcome at the front desk to restaurant servers, ski hill staff and chamber maids.

I have never experienced a more complete resort in all my world travels..Hockley truly is a 4 seasons resort just one hour north of Toronto in the beautiful rolling hills of Caledon just north east of Orangeville.

Right from the resort grand entrance and warm welcoming lobby to 8,000 sq ft full service spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, exercise room, newly renovated rooms, 20 ski runs that really caters to family fun, 18 hole championship golf course and award winning Adamo Estate Winery right on property.

There is truly something for everyone in the family and we experienced something very rare and unique on Sunday night...Snow Globe dining..As you can see from my photos there's a very creative and exquisite 5 course, pre set dinner paired with wines from around the world.  This is one of the best and most beautiful dining experiences I've ever enjoyed over my years of traveling.   You eat under the stars in your own private globe...seats 2 to 4 people under Covid restrictions. There's two sittings..5:30 and 8.

If you're looking for a romantic getaway or a family vacation Hockley Valley will not disappoint.  Overall, I rate my skiing, dining and resort enjoyment factor at 10 out of 10...Hockley Valley is truly a gem in the hills of Caledon and you won't be disappointed.
