With more than 15 years of experience in journalism, Reshmi Nair has covered breaking news stories as a reporter for local newscasts and radio stations with both CTV News and CBC News, before joining CP24 as an anchor in 2020. She formerly anchored CP24 Tonight with Nick Dixon.
Nair began her broadcasting career in British Columbia with Mountain FM. She continued as a radio reporter with News1130, winning an Edward R. Murrow Award for Spot News Coverage of an oil pipeline rupture in Burnaby, B.C. She later moved to television with CTV News then CBC News, returning to CTV in 2020 to host CTV NewsNight before ultimately joining CP24 last fall. Nair is proud to call Toronto home.
