Charges laid after police find illegal gaming house

Several people have been charged after police uncovered an illegal gaming house near Dundas and Spadina.

The evening of Jan. 29, police responded to the area for reports of a person with a gun. When they arrived, officers contained the area and entered the basement.

14 people are facing charges both criminally and under the provincial stay at home order.

Each person has been charged with being found in an illegal gaming or betting house.
