COVID-19 outbreak declared at CAMH after two patients test positive for the virus
Two patients at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) have tested positive for COVID-19.
The outbreak has been contained at the Queen Street location of the facility.
As a result, the impacted unit has been closed to admissions and transfers.
The province of Ontario defines an outbreak as a minimum of two cases detected in any congregate setting, within 14 days, where the infection was acquired within that location.
