Demi Lovato did not overdose on heroin: source

A source wouldn't confirm what drug may have sent the singer to hospital

Pop singer Demi Lovato reportedly did not overdose on heroin.

TMZ first broke the news the 25-year-old was hospitalized this afternoon in LA and that paramedics said it was because of heroin.

It is now reporting a source close to the singer says it's not true.

The source wouldn't confirm what drug Lovato may have sent her to the hospital but that she was given Narcan which counters the effects of opioids.

Lovato has been very open about her struggle with drugs and alcohol.

She had gone to rehab for a cocaine addiction and was believed to have been sober for six years.

Earlier reports said she was in stable condition.
