UPDATE: York Regional Police thank the public for help in finding missing Richmond Hill woman
York Regional Police and the family of 47 year-old Wanda Dubuc are thanking the public for their help in finding her.
She was found safe last night.
She was last seen leaving her home on Tuesday, September 10th, around 5:30 p.m. near Essex Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive East.
She had not been in touch with her family since then, which they said was out of character for her.
Her daughter spoke with our media partner CP24.
"She left without her keys, without a phone, without her wallet. She's bipolar, so she's been going through this disorder my whole life. This is the worst it's ever gotten, because she's never gone missing...so we're quite concerned and just really really need my mom home."
One of her two sisters who was handing out flyers with a group of supporters in Richmond Hill also made an appeal to the public for help.
"She's vibrant, even in this state, her mental state is very manic...but she wants people to notice (her). She will talk to many many people out there. She is a very social person."
Once again, York Regional Police confirming that Wanda Dubuc has been found safe and will be reunited with family.
