Toronto Police identify victim in city's 23rd Homicide

Toronto Police have identified a man found dead inside a commercial unit at 111 Millwick Drive, in the Steeles and Islington Avenue area yesterday.
The victim has been ID'd as 32 year-old Justin Kyle Ezeard of Toronto.
Officers got the call that someone had been shot just before 9 a.m. Friday morning.
Police Constable Allyson Douglas-Cook tells Newstalk1010 that when they arrived, they located a man suffering from "obvious signs of trauma".
He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say there is no concern for public safety.
"We are reaching out to residents and other businesses in the area. Anyone who may have any information at all - we're certainly trying to find some answers."
"So we're asking for anyone's help, anyone who has any information, we're urging them to please call police."
Douglas-Cook adds, "Police are also in the process of trying to obtain security camera footage, secuirty camera images - anything that may assist investigators in trying to determine what may have lead to the city's 23rd homicde."
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for some time today.
