Two people shot during robbery at North York business

Toronto's police chief says two people have been shot and injured during an apparent robbery in the city's north end.

Mark Saunders says officers are looking for two suspects who started shooting inside a business near the intersection of Dufferin Street and Steels Avenue West.

Saunders says two people are in serious condition with gunshot wounds.

A third suffered what Saunders says was an apparent anxiety attack during the incident.

The chief offered no suspect information, but said anyone with information should contact police.

Businesses in the area say there was a large police presence Thursday morning with officers collecting surveillance camera footage.
