Two teens wanted in a fatal Etobicoke shooting arrested and charged


Two teenage males, wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Etobicoke last week, have been arrested and charged.

The pair, a 17-year-old and 15-year-old, wanted as suspects in the death of 23-year-old Hashim Kinani,who was found shot inside a tow truck in the Panorama Court and Kipling Avenue area of Etobicoke last Thursday night, surrendered to police at 23 Division Thursday night.

Kinani was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second man, was also found suffering from gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital in a life-threatening condition.

Both teens, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have been charged with First-Degree murder and Attempted Murder and are scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
