Vigil held for murdered boys in Brampton
They gathered to mourn and to pray.
200 people lit candles and read notes on a small Brampton street Wednesday night in memory of two young boys found dead inside their home.
The father of 12-year-old Jonathan and nine-year-old Nicolas Bastidas is charged with first-degree-murder in the deaths.
The boys' friends and neighbours gathered outside their house in the cold to share their memories and their grief
"You'd always give him a hug...and a high five...He was a really good person," a friend of one of the boys told CTV News Toronto.
The boys were found, unresponsive inside their home last week.
A GoFundMe page to help support their mother has raised more than $20,000.
