Halton Police have a new tool to catch you talking and texting behind the wheel.

Don't expect to talk your way out of a ticket because officers will now have video evidence.

Some cruisers now have cameras on the sides. When an officer spots a distracted driver, they can push a button to record.

Halton Police have laid more than 1,000 distracted driving charges this year.
