You'll continue to save on your hydro bill

The provincial government has announced it will extend emergency electricity relief until May 31st.

It means customers who are on time-of-use pricing will continue to be charged the off-peak rate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

That's 10.1 cents per kilowatt hour.

When the measure was first brought in on March 24th, the province said it would save the average family $20 per month.
