Region Sees Four New Cases of COVID-19 Sunday


Windsor-Essex now has 2,649 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

That's after an increase of four cases Sunday.

Of those, one case was caused by community spread, another comes as a result of close contact with another confirmed case while the two others remain under investigation.

The region's death toll holds at 76 while 2,494 cases have been resolved.

One long-term care home is under outbreak protocol — Dolce Vita in Windsor.

There are currently no workplaces or schools on the health unit's list of outbreaks.
