There are nine active cases of COVID-19 in the province, with one person receiving treatment for the virus in ICU in a Nova Scotia hospital.
Friday's report of "breakthrough" COVID-19 cases indicates 28 people with both doses of COVID-19 vaccine tested positive from March 15th to July 27th this year and 235 people tested positive after receiving one dose.
In the same period, 254 people were hospitalized with COVID-19, including two who had received both doses and 28 who were partially vaccinated.
