Barrie Police release video of arson suspect, fleeing on fire
New dramatic surveillance video has been released from the scene of a suspected arson in Barrie this past weekend. Police released a video (below)that shows a suspect on fire and running from the Hawg Worx motorcycle repair shop on Welham Road. One of the suspects jumps into ditch full of water to put the flames out, and then continues to flee on foot. The fire caused extensive damage and the garage had to close for a few days. The Ontario Fire Marshall's office is investigating.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact Barrie Police or Crimestoppers.
