Cold and snow are music to the ears of skiers, boarders
Not everyone is upset about the early arrival of the cold and snow.
Local skiers and boarders are getting an early start on their season, with two of our local resorts opening this week.
Horseshoe resort opens Wednesday, November 13 at 9am, breaking a record set in 1995 for their earliest opening ever.
Mount St Louis Moonstone opens on Friday. A number of other resorts have begun snowmaking operations and also expect to open sooner rather than later.
