Crazy Bob says nature is predicting a crazy winter ahead
Twice a year - spring and fall - our friend "Crazy" Bob Beech takes a look at nature to let us know what the trees and animals are predicting for the coming season.
This fall - he has a warning for us
He is urging everyone to have an emergency kit on hand - and make sure it is well stocked. He says the recommended 72 hours worth of supplies might not be enough, and that you should have a week's worth on hand.
All signs from the trees, the insects, the birds and the animals are pointing to mild but wildly fluctuating temperatures and a lot of heavy, wet snow that won't stick around long, but if it comes in storms it will have a tendency to bring down trees and power lines.
"It's going to be a real mess," he told us this week.
