Today is the day that Ottawa will begin accepting applications for the new Canada Emergency Response Benefit... The program will provide 2-thousand dollars a month to Canadians who lost their jobs as businesses were forced to close or reduce operations to slow the spread of the virus.
The government has taken pains to try to ensure that the system will not crash - and there is a process that Canadians wishing to apply must go through. You will be able to apply based on the day of the week and your birth month.
