Support men's health issues by supporting Movember
November - or Movember - is all about men's health.
Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. Men are dying too young, and the goal of Movember is to raise money and awareness to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25 per cent by 2030.
Movember tackles the tough issues - including mental health and suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.
One way you can support the Movember initiative is by growing a Mo - or support someone who is growing a Mo.
If you don't know anyone, we would ask that you consider supporting one of our colleagues - KC Colby. He does the weather on air at CTV Barrie and here on Pure Country 106.
Any amount would be appreciated.
