Supporting breast cancer patients with pink pumpkins

pink ribbon

October is not all about Halloween - it is also  Breast Cancer Awareness month.

This year the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Program at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre is raising awareness with a contest that blends the two.

They want to see you turning your pumpkin pink. Members of the cancer program's patient and family advisory council will choose the top three entries and award each a $100 gift card of the winners' choice. All entries will also have a chance to win a goody bag.

You can paint a pumpkin or draw a pumpkin incorporating the colour pink and send to contests@rvh.on.ca. You can submit as many times as you like by October 31st at 5pm. By submitting you give permission for RVH to share your creativity through its social media channels.

Winners will be announced and contacted in early April.
