Tom Molloy Dropped by with news and tips - but no pets

Friends for Life

This week Tom Molloy from the Orillia OSPCA dropped by the Pure Country 106 studios - but he didn't bring a pet with him.

The good news is that the pet he was going to feature this week has been adopted - along with Portia the Bunny and the two remaining budgies, Chewy and Houdini.

If you are looking for a fur-ever friend you can still go to the Ontario SPCA website and take a look at the animals who are up for adoption at other centres.

Tom shared with us some more good news. (To hear the full interview click here).

Despite the less than optimum weather, participants at the Friends for Life Walk on September 22, 2019 raised more than $16,000 for the Orillia OSPCA.

Tom also told us about a fun fundraiser being organized by Hardwood Hills, Ski and Bike. Details about the Halloween Hustle below and at the Hardwood Ski and Hills website.
