Fuel prices down in New Brunswick on Thursday

The Energy and Utilities Board lowered the price of the four regulated fuels in New Brunswick on Thursday morning.

A litre of regular self-serve gasoline is down 12.4 cents to a new maximum price of $1.638, while a litre of diesel is down 10 cents at a new maximum price of $2.729.

Furnace oil is cheaper by 11.7 cents per litre at a new top price of $2.495 per litre, and the cost of propane is down seven-tenths of a cent per litre to $1.160 per litre.

Many retailers set their prices a few cents below the maximum allowable price.
