Gas down, diesel up slightly in N.B. on June 9th
Gas is cheaper but diesel is slightly more expensive in New Brunswick on Friday after the Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price reset.
A litre of regular self-serve gasoline is down 2.4 cents to a new maximum of $1.646, while a litre of diesel is up six tenths of a cent to a new maximum of $1.586.
Furnace oil is up eight-tenths of a cent per litre at a new top price of $1.402 per litre, and propane is more expensive by 1.2 cents per litre at a new top price of $1.007 per litre.
Many retailers set their prices a few cents below the maximum available price.
