MHL to hold 2023 Entry Draft on June 15th
The 2023 MHL Entry Draft will be held at 7:00 p.m. on June 15th.
A release states the ten round event will once again be held online, and fans will be able to see each selection as they're made at themhl.ca, through the league's social media accounts, or on Eastlink Community TV.
Two of the rounds are territorial selections, where teams can either pick up to a total of two players from their area, or take compensatory selections after the second and third rounds, respectively.
The league says the newly relocated West Kent Steamers franchise has the first overall selection, followed by the Amherst Ramblers, Fredericton Red Wings, and Grand Falls Rapids.
The MHL says the full draft order, and any territorial selections, will be announced closer to the draft.
