NB releases COVIDWatch report ending January 21st

New Brunswick's latest COVIDWatch report says the number of confirmed deaths due to the virus was stable in the third week of the year.
     
It shows there were 11 deaths confirmed in the week ending January 21st, unchanged from the previous week, bringing the total since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to 773.
     
The report says the number of COVID-19 hospitalizations increased slightly last week to 17, up from 14.
     
Four of those patients were in intensive care, double the number in the second week of the year.
