New connector road officially open at Fundy Trail Parkway
A new connector road to connect tourists with the eastern end of New Brunswick's Fundy Trail Parkway is now officially open.
Construction of the 45-million dollar Fundy Connector began in 2018 and opened to vehicles last September, but this is the first full summer for its use.
Almost 70-thousand people visited the Fundy Trail Parkway in 2021.
The project establishes a scenic link across the southern part of the province, from St. Stephen in the west to Sackville in the east.
