Police investigating fatal collision north of Saint John
The RCMP are investigating a fatal, single-vehicle crash north of Saint John early Friday morning.
Officers responded around 3:00 a.m. to the crash on Highway 11 in Oak Point.
Police say the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 48-year old man from Neguac, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Investigators believe the crash occurred when the driver lost control, hit a telephone pole, and rolled over, and say alcohol is believed to be a factor.
An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man's exact cause of death and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
