Thirty thousand contraband cigarettes seized in Saint-Jacques
The Department of Justice and Public Safety says 30,000 contraband cigarettes were seized in Saint-Jacques earlier this month.
Officials say the cigarettes were seized on May 11th, and a 34-year old man from Regina, Saskatchewan, was arrested.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Edmundston at a later date.
The investigation is ongoing.
