Three people are temporarily homeless after a fire in Rockland on Tuesday.

The Canadian Red Cross says the fire was reported around 2:00 p.m., and destroyed the home in the community a few kilometres east of Hartland.

The aid agency says a couple and their grandson are staying with relatives for now, and volunteers are assisting them with emergency purchases of food, clothing and other essential needs.

There were no injuries reported in the blaze.
