Two arrested, drugs and weapons seized in northern N.B.

(Submitted/RCMP)

The RCMP says a man and a woman were arrested last week in connection to a drug trafficking investigation in northern New Brunswick.

Police say they searched two residences in Eel River Dundee and a business in Dalhousie on March 10th, and seized what is believed to be cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl and Shady 8 pills.

Drug trafficking paraphernalia, a non-restricted firearm, ammunition, a crossbow and cash were also seized in the raids.

Investigators say a 22-year old Eel River Dundee man and a 40-year old woman from Dalhousie were arrested at one of the residences without incident.

Both were released and are scheduled to appear in Campbellton Provincial Court in August.
