Utility trailer, large capacity gas tank stolen from South Tetagouche

The Chaleur Region RCMP is investigating after a utility trailer and high volume gas tank were stolen from a construction site in South Tetagouche last week.

Police believe the trailer was stolen sometime between 7 p.m., September 15th, and 7 a.m. the next day from where it was parked at a construction site on Highway 180, about 30 km west of Bathurst.

The trailer is described as a silver 2015 N&N utility trailer with New Brunswick licence plate number TOS 758 and VIN 2NEU13B14FS012487.

investigators say it contained a red 2,400 litre gas tank with "46" in black lettering on the front panel.

Anyone with information about the theft, or who has seen the trailer or gas tank since 7 p.m. on September 15th, is asked to contact the Chaleur Region RCMP at 506-548-7771, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
