Police looking for poppy box thief

Kingston Police are searching for a woman who stole a poppy box from a downtown Tim Horton's earlier this month. 

Police said it happened just before 11 a.m. on Nov. 8 when a woman placed an order at the counter and took the box when the cashier wasn't looking, which contained cash donations in support of the Royal Canadian Legion's Poppy Campaign that supports veterans and their families. 

A photo of the suspect has been released, police describe her as a white woman with a slim to medium build. At the time, she was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie or hooded jacket and a mask, along with distinctive white shoes that had either dark-coloured laces or a dark-coloured upper portion of the shoe.
