Bearcats' Ethier named a Player of the Week, Truro's road trip postponed

Truro Bearcats

Truro Bearcats goaltender Felix-Anthony Ethier was named one the Maritime Hockey League's (MHL) Players of the Week for last week.

The 20-year-old won both of his starts, including a 29-save shutout Saturday in a 4-0 Bearcats win at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre.

There were more accolades for Truro this week as the team was ranked fourth in the nation in the latest Top 20 rankings by the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL).

Meanwhile, Truro's road trip to Edmundston and Grand Falls this weekend has been postponed.

The MHL says the decision was made due to the current COVID-19 "circuit-breaker" restrictions in New Brunswick and the travel restrictions for Nova Scotia teams going in and out of said areas.

An announcement will be made when the games are rescheduled.
