Government launches Rapid Screening Program for Workplaces

Nova Scotia has launched the COVID-19 Rapid Screening Program for Workplaces.

A release says the program, in partnership with provincial Chambers of Commerce, the seven Regional Enterprise Networks, CDL Rapid Screening Consortium and the federal government, will support employers to implement regular staff screening.

To participate in the free program, businesses must have a testing plan that's approved by the Department of Health and Wellness in place.

So far, 275 businesses and organizations representing more than 50,000 employees have signed up, and more information is available online.

Government says regular COVID-19 testing remains an important part of Nova Scotia’s reopening plan, even among people who are vaccinated.
