Twenty-one people from across Nova Scotia have been selected to join the Province's Early Learning and Child Care Engagement Table.

A release states the group will provide direct input and guidance on the next steps in Nova Scotia's five-year plan to transform child care through the Canada-Nova Scotia Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement, and will meet for the first time next month.

As the agreement is implemented, operational changes will be made based on operator feedback, and the public will also have additional opportunities to provide input on the child-care transofrmation through initiatives including working groups, focus groups and surveys.

Government says Nova Scotia is in the first year of implementing the $605 million agreement.
