Police arrest Pictou County woman following New Glasgow bomb threat
New Glasgow Regional Police say a 23-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a bomb threat in the town earlier this week.
Police and the New Glasgow Fire Department responded to the Web.com's office on East River Road around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Aberdeen Business Centre was evacuated and searched, which took until around 8:50 p.m., but nothing suspicious was located.
Police say a search warrant was executed at a home on Munroe Avenue Extension in Mount William around 10:20 a.m. on Friday and the woman was taken into custody.
The Pictou County woman has been charged with two counts of uttering threats and breach of an undertaking.
She has been remanded in custody until her next appearance in court on Tuesday.
