Police continue to investigate disappearance of man from Wolfville 30 years ago

The Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit is continuing to investigate the disappearance of a man who was last seen in Wolfville 30 years ago.

Investigators say 20-year old Allan Matheson, who also goes by Kenley, was last seen walking on Main Street in Wolfville on September 21st, 1992, wearing blue jeans, a purple t-shirt, a red and black backpack and a ball cap.

Police say there has been no contact with family members or friends from the Acadia University student, or activity in his bank account, since he was last seen.

The RCMP says it released an age progression sketch in 2017 of what Matheson may look like, and they hope to obtain new information to assist in the investigation.

Matheson's disappearance is part of the Reward for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his disappearance.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Allan "Kenley" Matheson is asked to contact the Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit at 902-365-3120, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
