Premier to advance Nova Scotia's interests in US next week
Premier Tim Houston is going to the US on his first international trade and economic mission next week.
A release states he will attend meetings in Washington, D.C. and Boston over three days from Tuesday to Thursday.
Houston says in the release that he looks forward "to discussing shared priorities like tourism, trade and investment that will benefit our provincial economy and Nova Scotia businesses".
Government says Nova Scotia exported $3.8 billion in goods to the US in 2019, and trade with the country supports 26,700 jobs in the province.
