RCMP continue to investigate homicide of Josiah Kaelin Sparks in 2017

The RCMP are continuing to investigate the homicide of 22-year old Josiah Kaelin Sparks, four years after his death in Lake Loon.

Officers responded to a 911 call just after 8 p.m. on September 14th, 2017, after he was found deceased on Cherry Brooke Road.

Police say Sparks attended a gathering at a house on that street sometime between September 11th and 14th, 2017, and are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen him there, or who has information on his whereabouts during that time.

Sparks' murder is a part of the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers rewards of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Calls to the program are recorded, and callers must provide their contact information, and may be called to testify in court.
