RCMP seek vehicle in fire investigation on Bear River First Nation

(Submitted/RCMP)

Digby RCMP are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle as part of an investigation into a structure fire on the Bear River First Nation last week.

Officers responded at around 1:15 a.m. on May 13th to a report of a fire on Reservation Road, and found the building fully engulfed.

Police say once the fire was out, they determined the building was a total loss, and are currently working with the Fire Marshall's office to determine the cause.

Investigators say they are trying to identify the vehicle pictured, as the occupants are potential witnesses to the fire.

Anyone with information on the vehicle, or the fire, is asked to contact the Digby RCMP at 902-245-2579, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
