Seven new cases of COVID-19 reported in Nova Scotia Wednesday


Seven new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nova Scotia on Wednesday.

Officials say six of the cases are in the Central Zone, and include three close contacts of previously reported cases and three travel-related cases.

Two of the cases are connected to the Royal Canadian Navy frigate HMCS Halifax and were previously announced by the Canadian Armed Forces.

Public Health says the other case is in the Western Zone and is related to travel.

Nova Scotia has 11 active cases of COVID-19, with no hospitalizations.
