Two new COVID-19 cases in Renfrew County
Renfrew County reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, both in the Petawawa-area.
There are six active cases of the virus in the area on Friday morning as two recoveries were also reported on Thursday.
Of the six active cases, no patients are in area hospital.
All school outbreaks have been cleared in Renfrew County while an outbreak does remain in place at one area long-term care home, Marianhill in Pembroke, but no residents are currently infected with the virus.
Ontario reported 1,210 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and 28 new deaths due to the virus, as 150 people are also in the Intensive Care Unit in hospitals across the province. Most of the province's cases have been reported in Toronto, Peel Region and York Region, which are expected to have more restrictions imposed on them on Friday.
