High Prices To Pay For High Speeds
There were high prices to pay for some high speeds on Highway 17 just outside Pembroke.
The OPP say they were patrolling along the highway on Sunday, where they charged four drivers with going more than 50 km/h over the posted speed limit.
Police say the drivers were all clocked the 140s in a 90 km/h zone.
A 58-year-old driver from Laurentian Valley, a 35-year-old from Petawawa, along with 24-year-old and 31-year-old drivers from outside Renfrew County, all lost their vehicles and licenses for seven days.
They've also all been issued notices to appear in Pembroke court on stunt driving charges.
