Former NASA Engineer Builds Obstacle Course For Squirrels

Imagine being so bored at home you build an obstacle course for squirrels!

While stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic, former NASA engineer Mark Rober decided to take up birdwatching. To attract birds to his yard, he put some bird seed in what was supposed to be a squirrel-proof feeder, which the squirrels still managed to breach and raid. So Rober used his engineering skills to create an American Ninja Warrior-inspired obstacle course that he hoped the "parkour masters of the animal kingdom" couldn't conquer. But he underestimated his furry foes, who simply used their athletic ability to keep stealing the seed. A video of Rober's elaborate setup has since gone viral. It’s a fun watch- check it out for yourself!
