Need to Know: MLB, IMAX, & Seeing Eye Dogs

The IMAX Theatre is Back!

The Kramer IMAX Theatre at the Saskatchewan Science Centre, is set to reopen today as the first part of the Science Centre’s phased reopening plan!

The theatre has several safety measures in place such as moving to online-only ticketing, cashless transactions for concessions, revised seating layouts, enhanced cleaning and improvements to guest flow in and out of the theatre.

Puppy Graduation!

Four soon-to-be Seeing Eye dogs are ready to move on to the next phase of their training after spending almost a year in Saskatchewan.

Indy, Percy, Wallace and Lulu are four black lab puppies who have spent the last 11 months doing the basic Seeing Eye dog training with the Canadian Institute for the Blind (CNIB).

The four pups arrived in SK back in August 2019. Indy and Percy have now graduated and are moving to Carleton Place, ON, to begin the next phase of formal training. Wallace and Lulu will move in the fall.

MLB Makes it's return!

It’s been a long and winding road, but Opening Day is here at last! Two games tonight! The Yankees travel to the States capital to face the reigning World Series-champion Nationals while Dodgers host the Giants, in Chavez Ravine! Jays will start their season tomorrow in Tampa.
